COUNSELING & PSYCHIATRIC SERVICES (CAPS)
CAPS provides training opportunities for psychology interns and practicum students in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, and social work. These interns and practicum students practice under the supervision of a licensed clinician.

Keanu Henley (she/her/hers) is currently a pre-doctoral intern at The John F. Kennedy School of Psychology and Social Sciences at National University. While there, she earned a Master of Arts in Sport Psychology, as well as a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology. Keanu has a passion for working with young adults, especially those in underserved communities, and specializes in supporting individuals using a strengths-based approach to therapy. Keanu has previous experience working in trauma-informed rehabilitation facilities for “at-risk” youth, in K-5 and 9-12 grade school settings, and with Division 2 collegiate athletes, teams, and coaches. As part of her final dissertation defense, Keanu is studying the psychological impact of code-switching on minority populations.
What I do for self-care: I love being able to drop everything and do nothing but sit outside with my dog and sort of “take it all in.”
What I am happiest doing outside of work: traveling, watching light-hearted movies, and spending time with my dog, family, and friends.
