CAPS staff members include fully licensed professionals, postdoctoral psychology fellows, and administrative staff.

CAPS provides training opportunities for postdoctoral psychology fellows seeking licensure and advanced students in psychology, counseling and social work.  These early career professionals and trainees provide counseling to clients and practice under the supervision of a licensed clinician.

Biographical Info

Dr. Guthrie-Savage has joined the CAPS staff for the 2022-2023 academic year. She received her doctorate from Mercer University and completed her internship at the University of Memphis. Her clinical interests include health psychology, chronic illness, mood disorders, LGBTQ communities, and other areas of multiculturalism.
